Starting January 2026, Asim Therapy is recruiting members for a group therapy process. Participants may have the following experiences:
have little to no experience with therapy
have lived experience being racialized, coming from non-white experiences
have lives experiences being queer or on gender or sexual spectrum, from non-heteronormative experiences
challenges with mental health, e.g. grief, relationships, mood, stress, anxiety, depression
may benefit from groups rather than individual therapy
Participants will be asked to join in 8 bi-weekly sessions (1h 45 minutes each) on Sunday afternoons between January to April 2026. There will be a screening process to determine best fit for clients seeking group support; referrals to individual support may be recommended to occur at the same time as group.
Costs The costs will range between $400 to $800 CAD as offerings for tiered rates (sliding scale, standard rate) may be offered.
